Paper cord was, and still is used for braided chair seats and backrests of many designer furniture, like e.g. Hans J. Wegners Wishbone Chair CH24 made from Carl Hansen & Søn, also Finn Juhl, Kaare Klint, Poul Kjærholm, N.O. Møller and much more.
Our paper cord is treated with a light wax coating prior to weaving in order to make it more resistant to discoloration and grease.
We sell three different colors: natural, black and white.

There are no recycled materials in paper cord, since the color variations from recycled paper are too big. All paper cord is completely biodegradable or can be incinerated.
